Challenge
Natrahea is a Singapore-based chiropractor and wellness brand. We were approached by the client to help them improve the local visibility in multiple areas of Singapore and to get more appointments organically. The website had two different segments of business, one to sign up for chiropractic appointments and another to sell health and wellness products. As a new brand, it was challenging to build brand recognition and organic search engine visibility among existing businesses.

Solution
Keyword research
We started working on the project by analyzing the core keywords, helping keywords, and the long tail keyword. The organic growth plan was based on these keywords. We divided the project into small phases and achieved month-by-month top rankings on these keywords. Within 6 years out of 50 keywords, 40 were on the first page of Google, and the remaining 10 highly competitive keywords took another 2 more months to get top of Google results.
Technical and ON-page SEO
The website was developed with a custom code and CMS. Unlike WordPress and other easy-to-managed CMS, it was a little hard to customize things on the website. So we conducted regular meetings and sessions with the tech team to fix the technical and ON page SEO issues.
We have optimized the canonical tags, meta tags, alt tags, image size, and unused javascript which was a reason for the slow loading speed.
Content strategy executed
To optimize the existing blog and product pages, we used the skyscraper technique. We also focused on new blog content writing based on low competitive and long tail keywords. After publishing these blogs, we were able to increase the traffic by 100% after 3 months.
Content and backlinking published on healthcare niche websites
After almost 4 weeks of ON-page optimization, we started working on outreaching healthcare bloggers. It was a manual process to identify quality local and international health blogging sites. In a year, we reached out to 500 new bloggers to publish content and gain backlinks with a 10% success rate.
Local Business Listing and Citations
The client has multiple clinics across Singapore, so local SEO was necessary. We created separate website pages for each location and a Google Business Profile (GBP) to reach the local audience. To spread NAP (Name, Address, Phone) across the Internet, we worked on the local business listing and citations so that Google can understand the business. The strategy also worked and provided more direct appointments through referral traffic, and calls.
